Nicola is part of the Private Client team and has over 14 years’ Private Client experience. She provides pragmatic, tailored advice on a wide range of matters to both UK and non-UK domiciled individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs and business owners. This includes the preparation of bespoke Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and advising on all aspects of lifetime inheritance tax structuring, wealth and succession planning including the use of family investment companies and cross-jurisdictional matters. She has developed expertise in advising philanthropic individuals on the creation, governance and administration of charities, with a special interest in grant-making foundations and charities operating overseas. Nicola also has extensive experience in advising settlors, trustees and beneficiaries of heritage and family trusts on matters including trustees’ duties, administration, governance and compliance. She also provides property trust advice in relation to inheritance tax planning and investment properties.
