When we start work on a new matter for our clients, we are required (save in exceptional cases) to send out a Letter of Engagement containing, amongst others, the following information:
(a) What we will be doing for you.
(b) Who will be responsible for your matter.
(c) How we will calculate our fees for our legal services.
(d) Our best possible information (this may be to agree a fixed price, give you an estimate or provide you with a forecast within a possible range of costs) about the likely overall costs.
(e) Our complaints handling procedure.
This is the current version of our Terms of Engagement; they outline our procedures in a number of important areas.
If you are a consumer and we have made a contract with you by electronic means you may be entitled to use an EU online dispute resolution service to assist with any contractual dispute you may have with us, see link
